Farmacia Central

The Farmacia Central was founded in 1942 and is still operational today. It is considered to be one of the longest running pharmacies in the city of Humacao. The Founder Julio C Garriga first opened the doors of the pharmacy at Noya Y Hernandez # 12 East in a building that was divided into 4 stores. The pharmacy moved to a bigger location across the street when the owner's son Julio E Garriga became a pharmacist and after a while became owner of the pharmacy. Now the store has moved back to its original location taking over the whole building, renovating it and giving it a classic colonial look.
