Farma (The Farm) is a Croatian reality television show broadcast on Nova TV which debuted in 2008. The show is completely produced and broadcast in HDTV, and was the first HD program in Croatia.
The show is set in the natural surroundings of a farm. During its first two seasons, it was broadcast for 13 weeks, six days in a week, in prime time, and was the highest rated show of the season. The winner of the first season was singer Rafael Dropulić also known as Rafo. The winner of the second season was actor Mario Mlinarić, and the winner of the third was Kristijan Kiki Rahimovski.. The fourth revamped season was won by Blaženka Slamar, the first female winner in four seasons and the first winner that got eliminated at one point of the game missing three weeks at the Farm. The fifth season is currently airing.
The first season of the show premiered on 9 March 2008, and concluded on 6 June 2008. Mia Kovačić served as the main host,Davor Dretar Drele served as the co-host, while Josip "Joža" Tučkorić mentored the contestants. Rafael Dropulić was crowned as the winner and won 500,000 Kn.
^Note 1 : As Head of Household, Alen in Week 1 was not required to vote between the nominations for the first duelist.^Note 2 : After the 4th duel in which Alen got defeated by Lupino, Lupino and Stipe got into a physical fight which resulted their ejection. Due to an unexpected departure of the following contestants Alen got spared eviction and continued competing.^Note 3 : Slađana broke the rules by leaking information in Week 7. As a punishment she was set to be the first duelist in that week and got sent to isolation. However, she refuesed it and walked from the competition.^Note 4 : The final week the public chose who they want to win.The winner of the second season was Mario Mlinarić who won 324,000 kuna from the prize.
The third season of show started on March 21, 2010 and finished on June 18, 2010 (90 days). Nikolina Pišek and Mia Kovačić served as hosts & Davor Dretar Drele returned after a one-season break as a co-host. The winner Kiki Rahimovski received 269.000 kuna from the prize.
The fourth season, entitled Farma: Novi Početak (New Start) premiered 6 September 2015. It's the first season since 2010 and it's the first season to not feature celebrities nor to air in spring. Mia Kovačić returnes as host and Josip Tučkorić - Joža returnes as mentor. Davor Dretar - Drele, former co-host, is replaced by
Dušan Bučan. This is also the first season to not feature the studio reportings and live duels.
After 103 days Blaženka Slamar was crowned as the winner and won 425,000kn.
^Note 1 : As a result of Anamarija's multiple provocations Marija slapped her. Due to both competitors breaking one of the main rules they got isolated and directly sent into the duel. The nomination ceremony was canceled due to following occasions.^Note 2 : Hrvoje became homesick and felt that the whole experience was too much for him so he decided to withdrew from the competition.^Note 3 : Nedjeljko and Anita, new castmembers, arrive as the replacements for Hrvoje. Nedjeljko arrives in Week 5 and Anita in Week 6.^Note 4 : After the voting in Week 5 there was a tie between Sara and Josip. Anna as the Head of Farm had to decide who to send in the duel as a tiebreaker. She decided to go against her original vote, which was Josip, and sent Sara in the duel as the first duelist of the week. The same thing happened in Week 9 when Anamarija changed her vote from Miriam to Josip.^Note 5 : Aldo initially withdrew from the competition after he was too ill to continue his stay in the game. However, he returned in the game 10 days after leaving.^Note 6 : Aleksandra and Donald arrive as the challengers at week 7. They challenged Anita, the Head of Farm, to compete in a duel. If the challengers won they would take control over the Farm. However, Anita won the duel against Aleksandra and replaced her initial nomination choices, Anna and Josip with Aleksandra and Donald.^Note 7 : On Day 57 the farmers got a chance to bring back one eliminated player. After a four-way tie between Marija, Blaženka, Nedjeljko & Sara with 2 votes it was Anamarija as the Head of Farm who had to make a decision. On Day 58 she decided Blaženka would be returning.^Note 8 : In the final week there was no selection process and final four players drew tournament duel matchups that would determinate the winner of the season. Anna was selected to compete against Ivan and Blaženka was selected to compete against Ivica. The winners of those two duels would face each other for the grand prize and the losers went home empty handed.Ivan lost the duel against Anna on Day 102 placing fourth overall and Ivica lost the duel against Blaženka on Day 103 placing third overall. Anna & Blaženka faced each other later on Day 103 with Blaženka being crowned as the Season 4 winner.It premiered on the September 4, 2016 and features 18 new farmers. Mia Kovačić and Dušan Bućan returne as hosts, while Josip Tučkorić - Joža returnes as mentor. The format will be similar to Season 4 with a few twists.
18 farmers will be divided into 2 teams of 9 on different farms (Team Modern Farm vs. Team Old Farm). Each Farm will have its own Head of Farm and servants (who will be chose by the whole house instead of the Head of Farm only) and they will compete for team immunity. The winning team is safe from the Duel.
The Duels will feature 3 cycles. In the first one, the first duelist will be chosen by the losing team and the first duelist chooses his opponent from his team. The difference in the second cycle is that the first duelist can choose his opponent from the winning team too. In the third and final cycle teams merge into one farm.
A brand new feature this season is the Mini Duels. In each one two farmers from the winning team compete for a reward of their own choice.

^Note 1 : As reward for being a part of the winning the player is immune for the week.^Note 2 : During the team phase of the game, the nominees from the winning team were spared eviction and gained immunty.^Note 3 : Danijel felt that he would sustain an serious injury if he stayed on the farm so he decided to quit.^Note 4 : After Senad's eviction, 2 new farmers, Igor & Dalia, were introduced to the rest of farmers. Dalia became a new member of the red team while Igor became the new member of the green team.^Note 5 : Igor quit due to medical reasons.^Note 6 : In Week 5 a team switch occurred. Josipa & Katica became new members of the red team, while Gordan & Ankica of the green team.^Note 7 : Dalia became fed up with the living conditions and decided to quit the game.^Note 8 : The nominee's team won the week challenge but is still eligible to be chosen as the second duelist.^Note 9 : In Week 6 another team switch occurred. Jasmina became a member of the green team, while Barbara switched to the red team.^Note 10 : In Week 9 the team's merged into one, the goleden team. Also two previously eliminated players, Ankica & Damir, were brought back in the game.^Note 11 : In week 10 all contestants had to give their vote to Daniela, because Mia stated before the voting that Goran has an immunity.^Note 12 : In the final week there was no selection process and final four players drew tournament duel matchups that would determinate the winner of the season. Goran was selected to compete against Gordan and Josipa was selected to compete against tomislac. The winners of those two duels would face each other for the grand prize and the losers went home empty handed.Gordan lost the duel against Goran on Day 108 placing fourth overall and Tomislav lost the duel against Josipa on Day 109 placing third overall. Goran & Josipa faced each other later on Day 110 with TBD being crowned as the Season 5 winner.
