Faridpur is a town and a nagar panchayat in Bareilly district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. In the age of British Rule Ram Kumar Agrawal was the Jameendar, Collector and Honorary Magistrate of this town. After this his son Lala Laxmi Narayan Agrawal was the last Collector and Honorary Magistrate of this town. Presently Faridpur is famous for Jari work, Sarrafa (Gold and Silver Jewellery).
