History

Founded by a group of missionary parents, Faith Academy was established in 1956. Faith Academy's first campus was once located in a rented house at V. Mapa Street in Manila. In 1962, Faith Academy moved into its current property which is located on the suburb of Metro Manila, Cainta in Rizal province. In 1970, Typhoon Yoling caused significant damage, but the school was reconstructed. In recent years, several additions have been made to the Manila Campus, most notably the Dick and Helen Cadd Fine Arts Center. Other additions in recent years have been a new middle school building, additions and reconstruction to the aquatic facility, and yearly student council gifts such as the Vanguard trophy case.

In the 1990's a small mission school in Davao joined Faith Academy and became known as Faith Academy Davao. In 2008, the Davao branch combined with a high school called MICA (Mindanao International Christian Academy) and changed its name to Faith Academy Mindanao. In 2015 this second school became it's own entity and renamed itself Faith International Academy of Davao.
