In 2014, he made a triumphant return to Warrane College. He coached such greats as Callum Yates and with Roy Atherton (see Gull) as Assistant to the Coach, guided Warrane to a miracle win for the David Barker Cup also displaying his trademark characteristic of achieving results in the midst of poor support staff (as mentioned previously). This solidified and validated his coaching legacy.
