Exoditis subfurcata

Exoditis subfurcata is a moth in the Xyloryctidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1933. It is found in Madagascar.

The wingspan is about 17 mm. The forewings are pale ochreous, in males with a fringe of dense downwards-directed scales from beneath the costal edge from the base to two-fifths. The second discal stigma is small, cloudy and fuscous and there is a very faint obtusely angulated line of a brownish tinge at about five-sixths, as well as a series of cloudy fuscous dots just before the termen. The hindwings are light grey.
