Eurovoc

Eurovoc is a multilingual thesaurus maintained by the Publications Office of the European Union. It exists in 24 official languages of the European Union (Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovene, Spanish and Swedish and Turkish) plus Albanian, Macedonian and Serbian, although the user interface is not yet available in Albanian or Macedonian. Eurovoc is used by the European Parliament, the Publications Office of the European Union, the national and regional parliaments in Europe, some national government departments, and European organisations. It serves as the basis for the domain names used in the European Union's terminology database: Inter-Active Terminology for Europe.
