Eupterote obsoleta is a moth in the Eupterotidae family. It was described by Talbot in 1926. It is found on Borneo. The habitat consists of lowland limestone forests.

Adults are reddish brown, weakly fasciated except for a clearly defined double postmedial line on both wings.
