Eucalyptus pellita is a tree species that is endemic to north-eastern Queensland in Australia. Common names include, red maghogany, large-fruited red mahogany, Daintree stringybark and red stringybark.

The species was formally described in 1864 by Victorian government botanist Ferdinand von Mueller, based on plant material collected near Rockingham Bay by John Dallachy. Populations in New South Wales formerly include in this species are now referred to Eucalyptus scias. Natural hybrids have been recorded with Eucalyptus brassiana and Eucalyptus grandis.
