Estradiol dienanthate, or estradiol 3,17-dihepanoate, is a semisynthetic, steroidal estrogen. It is an estrogen ester, specifically, and an ester of estradiol. The drug is a component of Climacteron, an injectable combination formulation of testosterone enanthate, estradiol dienanthate, and estradiol benzoate that is used in the treatment of menopausal symptoms in women.
