Short for Esperanto Center, Especen is a hotel and travel company in Vietnam.
First established in Hanoi in the 1990s with the Especen hotel chain & Especen Travel Company, the company's goal is to connect people who wish to use a simple international language while touring the country of Vietnam to provide simpler venues that do not require translation or any major adjustments for people of different background. Today there are only two original Especen hotels still operating in the Cathedral quarter, Hoan Kiem district of Hanoi city.
