Erzinsky District (Russian: Эрзинский кожуун; Tuvan: Эрзин кожуун) is an administrative and municipal district (raion, or kozhuun), one of the seventeen in the Tuva Republic, Russia. It is located in the south and southeast of the republic. The area of the district is 11,081.4 square kilometers (4,278.6 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Erzin. Population: 8,280 (2010 Census); 8,081 (2002 Census); 8,633 (1989 Census). The population of Erzin accounts for 38.5% of the district's total population.
