Ernst equation

In mathematics, the Ernst equation is a non-linear partial differential equation, named after the physicist Frederick J. Ernst.

ℜ ( u ) ( u r r + u r / r + u z z ) = ( u r ) 2 + ( u z ) 2 .

It is used to produce exact solutions of Einstein's equations.
