Ernst Freiherr von Bibra (23 September 1910 – 25 February 1943) was a German Major in the Luftwaffe during World War II. Ernst Freiherr von Bibra was born at the 23 September 1910 in Aachen, Germany. After participation in the France and the Balkans campaign and also over Crete, he assumed command of the III group of the KG 51 on the 25 November 1941. He was shot down during a mission on the 15 February 1943 in the Donets region and since then considered to be missing in action.
