Ernest Romens(1904 - 1954) is a French athletic walker thirties. Three times winner of the extreme racewalking, Paris-Strasbourg march, in 1933, 1935 and 1937. At its third victory, he broke the legendary record of 300 km of road. He received dozens of telegrams f√©cilitations from the American alsatian community, who followed in the press, sports events of "their" Ernest.
