Frederick "Erick" Rodriguez (born April 15, 1981) also known as "Erod" is a Filipino basketball player in the Asean Basketball League. He last played for the Philippine Patriots. Rodriguez is a former player of the Letran Knights as the team captain that championed in NCAA on 2003 and 2005, also played for Toyota Balintawak in the Philippine Basketball League for 5 years.

He played for PBA at Burger King Whopper in 2008 and helped Coach Yeng Guiao to get the 3rd place in conference. He is known as bad boy of the playing court for his tough defence. According to his former Letran coach Louie Alas "he is a tough but not a rough player". After their Burgerking he also played for Air21 and Meralco and his last was in Ginebra.

Career

Rodriguez played in Letran for 4 years and helped them to win the championship in 2003 and 2005. He was then selected to represent the country with the RP-Harbour Centre in the SEABA Championship in Indonesia. Rodriguez also played in the Southeast Asian Games in Nakhon, Ratchasima in Thailand on December 2007.

During the 2006 PBA Draft, he went undrafted. He was then signed by the Burger King Whoppers as a free agent in 2009.

He is still active in his career playing in commercial leagues in and outside the country.
