An ergonomic glove, also known as a computer glove or support glove, is a stiff glove worn to prevent or remedy carpal tunnel syndrome by holding the wrist in a certain position while typing.
There are numerous types of ergonomic gloves that vary in design in multiple ways including in their firmness, whether they cover the fingers completely, and if they are intended for heavier physical use.
Ergonomic glove design covers many fields with even the gloves worn by healthcare professionals becoming ergonomically designed.
