Epitola posthumus, the common giant epitola, is a butterfly in the Lycaenidae family. It is found in Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Nigeria (south and the Cross River loop), Cameroon, Gabon and the Republic of Congo. The habitat consists of forests.
