EnterNetica (EnterNetica LLC) is a volumetric photography and videography company headquartered in Lewes, Delaware. It was founded in 2002 by Andronik Nazaretian as the Internetica Software Group. Its primary focus is 3d rendering, optics and imaging R&D, although it also produces a variety of panorama stitching and format conversion software suites. EnterNetica develops, licenses, and supports a wide range of software products for various platforms. Its most popular product is the VolumePhoto SE volumetric stitcher.

History

EnterNetica was formed in 2002 by Andronik Nazaretian. Initially, in order to specialize the new company, a corporate direction was selected that emphasized the creation of development platforms for multi-user, multimedia applications.

EnterNetica's first project was the development of a software suite for the creation and presentation of volumetric photographs - VolumePhoto. The term "volumetric photography" or VolumePhoto itself, when applied to panoramic photography, in referring to a new level of quality, is an invention of the company.

Using the resources of a small team, and with only the funds available from web-development, the world's fastest and most accurate editor was created, along with a proprietary display format which has no analogue that can offer the same image quality or plugin size. Two and a half years were invested in the development of the commercial release of VolumePhoto SE 1.0 and VolumeArc 1.0 (an application for work with 3ds Max). Both products received high marks from Microsoft specialists.

Currently, EnterNetica is continuing promising development of its VolumeView technology. This includes earlier deployment of solutions for VolumeVideo, volumetric video. EnterNetica aims to make volumetric photography and videography attributes of day-to-day life, initially targeting the technology at highly specialized markets and step by step bringing it to mass consumers, while minimizing end-user equipment costs with the release of a new camera for the volumetric photography and video use.

It's important not to overlook the other directions of EnterNetica corporate activity. EnterNetica's highest-priority research activities involve EnterNetica Multidimension and EnterNetica 2.5D GameRealm as the company's most promising long-term projects. A series of conceptualization projects with a common goal - to develop a concrete path from pure technology to realized business solutions and commercial products - has been launched. Some of these projects include: Sagdiana (a comprehensive solution for the creation of multi-use virtual worlds), 3D Web (a solution for the creation of 3D web sites), "Battle of the Sexes", and LAVA Online (the first in a series of multiplayer online games built on EnterNetica 2.5D GameRealm).
