Goals include mapping the Cosmic Microwave Background and finding Earth like exoplanets. To go deeper into space-time studying the Large Scale Structure of the Universe, extreme physics, and looking back farther in time.

Examples of discussed missions include:

  • JEM-EUSO
  • JWST (James Webb Space Telescope)
  • WFIRST-ALPHA
  • Euclid
  • TESS (Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite)
  • Gaia
  • NICER (Neutron Star Interior Composition Explorer)
  • Astro-H (Hitomi)
  • Gravitational Wave Surveyor/Mapper
  • CMB Polarization Surveyor
  • LUVOIR Surveyor (Large UV Optical Infrared Surveyor)
  • X-Ray Surveyor
  • Cosmic Dawn
