EMTEK is a door hardware manufacturer, based in Southern California and represented by dealers in the United States, Latin America and Canada. They produce a range of residential lock products, including tubular locks, key locking hardware sets, electronic keyless locks, deadbolts, and Mortise locks. They also provide cabinet and drawer pulls for interior spaces like kitchen and bath cabinets.

Beginning in the mid 1980s the company began making a limited range of solid brass door levers for specialty hardware dealers in the Los Angeles area. The product line and the customer base have expanded into an international enterprise. Emtek is one of the largest employers in City of Industry, CA, where it has three facilities. All product assembly and shipping is done from City of Industry, CA where the customer service organization is also located.
EMTEK was acquired by Swedish conglomerate ASSA ABLOY in 1999, the largest lock manufacturing company in the world.

EMTEK's lock sets are classified into seven stylistic categories, including Contemporary, Arts & Crafts, Rustic, Tuscany, American Designer, American Classic and Art Nouveau and they offer 17 finish options across its product line.

In collaboration with L.A. based designers Commune (designers), EMTEK was the hardware provider for the Architectural Digest Oscar Green Room in 2015.
Their hardware is also featured exclusively in HGTV Star Vern Yip's book "Design Wise: Your Smart Guide to A Beautiful Home".
The Modern Crystal knob also won Interior Design Magazine's 2014 Best of the Year award for hardware.
