Elisabeth Synnove Rue Strencbo (born 19 June 1950 in Geilo)), living in Tonsberg, is a Norwegian politician. She was leader of The Democrats in Norway, from June 2012 to October 2013. She resigned and withdrew in October 2013. Strencbo was also treasurer from April 2012 to March 2013

Strencbo represented the Progress Party in Tonsberg where she held positions. She was partly Secretary, and in the election of 2009, she's campaign manager. In municipal and county elections in 2011 she stood on cumulated 5th place for Progress Party in Tonsberg, but became active resigned from the party before the election. The reason was that she had gone out actively in the election campaign and said that she would resign. Strencbo is still 1st deputy in Tonsberg City Council from 2011 to 2015. Strencbo were 2015 permanent representative in the City Council.

In recent years she has been active in a group working for human rights, and she is a director of Landsforbundet Against Drug abuse adv. Tonsberg and she is deputy head of the National Association For Support For Former Drug abusers.
