This is a list of electoral results for the Electoral district of Alma in New South Wales state elections from the district's creation in 1894 until its abolition in 1904.

Elections in the 1900s

Sitting Labor MP Josiah Thomas had been elected a Member of the House of Representatives for Barrier at the first Commonwealth election in March. Williams nominated as an Independent Labor candidate after friction between local branches and the Barrier District Assembly.

Sitting Labor MP Josiah Thomas was elected unopposed.

Labor MP Josiah Thomas won the inaugural election for the seat.
