El Raja Sporting Club is a football club from the city of Marsa Matruh. The club was promoted to Egyptian Premier League for the first time in 2013. The team avoided relegation in the 2013–14 Egyptian Premier League season by defeating Telephonat Beni Suef 1–0 in the relegation play-off.
