El Intermedio (The Intermission in Spanish) is a news satire television program hosted by Spanish comedian El Gran Wyoming and co-hosted by Beatriz Montañez from 2006-2011 and since then by Sandra Sabatés. It is aired on access prime-time, from 9.30pm, four days a week on Spain's nationwide channel laSexta.
The writers are Alberto López, Alberto González Vázquez, Lola Zambade, Eva Nuño Gómez, Nuria Dominguez, Diego Solanas, Eduardo García Eyo, Sergio Sarria Ruiz, Juan José López and Miguel Ángel Hernández. Alberto González Vázquez is also the author of the popular segment videos manipulados (counterfeit videos).
