Reyes del Show (Show Kings) is the original spin off of the Peruvian TV series El Gran Show

This season will join the top three couples of the two first seasons. In addition it was confirmed that added new couples in this season, being the second time (The first time was in "Reyes del Show 2015") in the history of the program participants would be added in the seasons of "The Reyes Show" performed in each annual edition. Began on October 29, 2016.

In this season, Belén Estévez and Maricielo Effio, former participants of the program, returned to face the couples in the "Versus dance" during the fifth and sixth weeks respectively. In addition, having a total of 8 episodes, this season Turns into the season "Kings of the show" with more number of episodes, instead of 7 as in previous ones.

On December 17, 2016, Rosángela Espinoza and Lucas Piró were crowned champions, Thiago Cunha and Thati Lira were in second place while Fiorella Cayo and Jimy Garcia were third. This would be the second victory of Espinoza, becoming the second bicampeona of the program, along with Belén Estévez who won in El Gran Show (season 2) of 2010 and Reyes del Show of 2011, and the first participant in the history of the program to win twice in a same year. At the same time, Piró became the first professional dancer to win two seasons.

Couples

The participating couples of this season were conformed by the first three positions of the first and second season. During the broadcast of the first episode, the income of the dancer Thiago Cunha and of Yahaira Plasencia, who was a challenger and later winner of "Reyes del Show 2015", as regular competitors. It was also reported that Lucas Piró, a dance partner of Rosángela Espinoza, would not participate in an injury caused in the rehearsals, being replaced by Freddy Reyes during the first week, even so Piró decided to return to competition in the second week.

Host and judges

Gisela Valcarcel returned as a presenter while Miguel Arce did not return as co-presenter, being the first time in the history of the program in which Valcárcel is the only presenter in a season. Morella Petrozzi, Carlos Cacho, Pachi Valle Riestra and Michelle Alexander returned as judges. The procedure of the only VIP judge present at each week continued this season.

    From the third week when a couple is eliminated by the public through telephone voting, the jury decides whether the continuous competition. There are only 2 lifeguards
