This season will join the top four couples of the first and the second seasons. Additionally, it was confirmed that a new couple would enter the program, being the first time in the history of the program in which participants would be added in the seasons "Kings of Show" of each annual edition.
On December 19, 2015, Yahaira Plasencia and her partner George Neyra were crowned champions, curiously, this the challenging couple of the season. Brenda Carvalho and Pedro Ibáñez finished second, while María Grazia Gamarra and Sergio Álvarez placed third.
Couples
The participating couples of this season were conformed by the top four couples of the first and second season. During the first week, it is confirmed that Melissa Loza would not participate in the season, due to her own decision for work in Esto es Guerra (program where Loza participates). For this reason, a challenging couple was brought in as a replacement, made up of singer Yahaira Plasencia and professional dancer George Neyra.
During the show, two professional partner were replaced. The first was Irving Figueroa (Brenda Carvalho's partner), who retired because of family problems, being replaced by the member of the dance troupe Pedro Ibáñez. The second was Billy Gonzáles (María Grazia Gamarra's partner), who was disqualified due to impunualidades in the dance essays, because of this Sergio Álvarez (who did not participate by Melissa Loza's decision to withdrew the competition) entered in his place.
Hosts and judges
Gisela Valcárcel and Jaime "Choca" Mandros return as hosts, while Morella Petrozzi, Carlos Cacho, and Pachi Valle Riestra return as judges. The VIP Judge was not introduced in this season. In Week 2, Alfredo Di Natale (professional dancer and director of the Arthur Murray dance school) was announced as a new judge in the show.
