Edward G. Gilbertson was a political candidate in Wisconsin. In 1950, he ran for the United States House of Representatives from Wisconsin's 7th congressional district. He lost to incumbent Reid F. Murray. In 1956, Gilbertston was an unsuccessful candidate for the Wisconsin State Assembly, losing to Arthur J. Crowns. Gilbertson was a Democrat.
