Edness K. Wilkins State Park is a state-owned, public recreation area on the North Platte River 6 miles (9.7 km) east of the city of Casper in Natrona County, Wyoming. The state park's 362 acres (146 ha), a former rock quarry, were purchased in 1981 for $380,000 and named after Edness Kimball Wilkins (1896-1980), an area resident and 25-year Wyoming legislator. The park offers facilities for picnicking, boating, fishing, and swimming as well as opportunities for bird watching.
