The Edificio Herdocia is a four-story property located in San Jose, Costa Rica. It was built in 1945 by architect Catalan Luis Llach Llagostera. Located on a corner at the crossroads 2nd Street and Avenue 3 of this Central American capital, the north side of Edificio de Correos y Telégrafos de Costa Rica, with which forms one of the most recognized architectural ensembles of josefino town. Its architecture has a style that combines art deco with the neoclassical style. Considered to be of great beauty and historical value, was declared the Architectural Heritage of Costa Rica in February 2000. Its name comes from Herdocia Carmen Rojas, who was its first owner.
