Eduard Leopold Edgar Stentzler (27 March 1905 – 20 October 1941) was a highly decorated Major in the Fallschirmjager during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Edgar Stentzler was wounded during the Siege of Leningrad and died on 20 October 1941 in a military hospital in Tilsit, East Prussia.
