Ecology Action is an environmental organization founded in 1970 under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)3, based in Santa Cruz, California. It has a staff of more than 50 people and operates a variety of energy saving, water, waste reduction, and greenhouse gas emission reduction programs.
The organization recently began to renovate the former Santa Cruz Sentinel newspaper building with two other partners. The organization also sponsors Bike To Work Week.
