East Essex was a county constituency in the county of Essex, which returned two Members of Parliament to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, elected by the bloc vote system.

It was created by the Reform Act 1867 for the 1868 general election, and under the Redistribution of Seats Act 1885 it was abolished for the 1885 general election, when it was divided into several new single-member constituencies: Chelmsford, Epping, South East Essex, Harwich, Maldon, Romford, Saffron Walden and Walthamstow.
