East Ayrshire Community Hospital is situated in Ayr Road, Cumnock, Scotland. It is a local hospital which provides:

  • 50 continuing care and respite beds
  • 24 GP medium-acute beds
  • 24-place day hospital
  • 28,000-capacity outpatient facility
  • rehabilitation facilities
  • radiodiagnostics facilities
  • a patient therapy garden.

    • It was built as a Public-Private Partnership project, announced in 2000.

    There are plans for a new NHS dental facility to be built at this site, however at this time there is some opposition as some of the existing wards would need to be closed to facilitate this.
