East Asia TV was a TV channel supposedly planned for the UK. It aimed to broadcast content from East Asia, initially Anime, they hoped to broadcast K-dramas soon after. The plan was for it to launch on Sky in summer 2014. They confirmed plans to broadcast on Freeview.

History

The company was created by Ash Lawliét who born in 1992. Lawliét announced that East Asia TV would cease trading on Friday 7 February and close indefinitely. The company dissolved on the 10th June 2015.

Nick Cooney of Japan Curiosity said that he was excited for this. He was disappointed at them ceasing trading.
