Eamonn O'Brien is a right-sided midfielder currently playing football with University College Cork. He was born in Cork on 15 December 1990. O'Brien was linked to many major clubs in his youth, including Everton F.C.. In a 2003 issue of Match (magazine) he was referred to as "the Irish David Beckham". He has recently been unable to play due to a recurring knee injury.
