EVOS Food Creations, Inc. (styled ēvōs) is a chain of franchised fast food restaurants founded in Tampa, Florida. The company operates 10 locations in Florida, California, Georgia, and North Carolina. The name "EVOS" derives from the word, "evolve".
History
The idea for EVOS came when co-founder Dino Lambridis and friends were unable to find a fast, healthy lunch during a trip to Miami. Lambridis has claimed, "We have a very unique [sic] concept that doesn't exist in the marketplace...We're an all-American burger cafe, except the ingredients are much healthier and more natural." The company uses beef that is hormone and antibiotic free, air-bakes their french fries, and uses organic milk and sugar to make their shakes. The company sponsors the EVOS Healthy School Lunch Program in order to improve nutrition for schoolchildren. EVOS' stores are made with sustainable materials, their packaging is biodegradable, and their ingredients are all Fair Trade Certified.
