Dyoenergism

Dyoenergism (a Greek loanword meaning "two energies") is a particular teaching about how the divine and human relate in the person of Jesus, known as a Christological doctrine. Specifically, Dyoenergism teaches that Jesus Christ acts through two energies, divine and human.

The Third Council of Constantinople in 680-681 adopted Dyoenergism as church doctrine and at the same time rejected Monoenergism.
