"Down Boy" is a pop/dance song written by Rob Davis and produced by Nellee Hooper. Holly Valance recorded the track for her debut album Footprints and was the second song released from the album. It was released as a CD single in late 2002 and charted in the top ten in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia.
British television presenter and actress Alexa Chung plays Valance's friend in the music video.
