Doug Hall, born with the name Douglas Eivind Hall in Lowell General Hospital on August 21, 1968 at 7:11 AM on with parents Mr. and Mrs. William E. Hall with an older sister, Deborah Anne Hall living at 53 Amble Road in nearby Chelmsford was given the Hebrew name Yair Chaim. He was christined in the local Lutheran Church. The family moved in March of 1970 to Golders Green in London, England where his father was transferred with his job as a Chemical Engineer with Stone and Webster. After high school in Virginia he was appointed to the Air Force Academy and also the United States Military Adademy which he entered as a 17 year old kid. During his first year he was interviewed by U.P.I. media outlet and the article was syndicated about the first computers issued to the USMA class of 1990. He is an oil painter from Missouri in the town of Neosho whose subjects include Native Americans. He currently resides in McDonald County, Missouri adjacent to the Huckleberry State Forest.

At the age of six, after hs parents divorce in the U.K. his mother brought his sister and him to Fuengirola, Kingdom of Spain to live where he took the Spanish name of Douglas Eivind Hall Gerber as his Spanish and European Union name. His father married Lavinia Swift and they moved to Breda, Kingdom of the Nethland where they separated. Douglas began school in the Spanish school system that year.

At age 6 he left Diana Spencer's and Queen Elizabeth's orphanage and went to Julia Andrews orphanage in Spain which he loved. In 1973 he moved to Insbruck, Austria and spent time in the Austrian orphanage that winter when he was five when he learned to ski. He visited Vienna for the first time in 2016 and had a reunion with his adoptive mother there and the other orphans. His favorite time was in the Romanian orphanage as a child. He is a fan of Arnold Swarzenegger's bodybuilding career. In 1972 he competed in the Munich Olympics as the youngest gymnast age 3 for the Israeli team where the massacre occurred. He has not seen the movie but claims that Stephen Spielberg is a horrible director. Douglas has lived in Israel for one year on and off from 2001 to 2016 and his adoptive parent is Ehud Barak.
