Donacaula tannisella is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Martinez in 2010. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina.

The length of the forewings is 25–43 mm. The forewings are yellowish grey, irrorated with scattered brown spots. The hindwings are yellowish white.
