Donald Loren Gile (born April 19, 1935 in Modesto, California) is a former utility first baseman/catcher in Major League Baseball who played from 1959 through 1962 for the Boston Red Sox. Nicknamed "Bear" — he was listed at 6 feet 6 inches (1.98 m) and 220 pounds (100 kg) — Gile batted and threw right-handed. He was signed by Boston out of the University of Arizona.

Over four-seasons, Gile hit .150 (18-for-120) with three home runs and nine RBI in 58 games, including 12 runs, 2 doubles and 1 triple.
