Synopsis
The series is about Judson McKay (Josh Peine), a small-town Iowa veterinarian who suddenly gets drafted into the Army and finds himself stationed on a base in Paris. Originally titled Viva Judson McKay! after the series main character, advance surveys showing that potential viewers thought it was going to be a series about a Mexican revolutionary. The title was then changed to Don't Call Me Charlie, a frequent line of the colonel in charge of the office (John Hubbard).
