Domenico Bettini (1644–1705) was an Italian painter of the Baroque period, mainly depicting still-life subjects.

Biography

He was born in Florence, and died in Bologna. He was first a pupil of Jacopo Vignali, but afterwards went to Rome, and became a pupil of Mario Nuzzi. He painted still lifes with fruit, flowers, birds, and fish. He worked for many years at the court of the Duke of Modena from 1670 to 1688. One of his pupils was Felice Rubbiani of Modena.
