Dolní Bečva is a village in Vsetín District, Zlín Region, Czech Republic. It has a population of 1,900 (2015). Located along road E442 between Rožnov pod Radhoštěm and Prostřední Bečva, the village is nestled in a valley of the Beskid Mountains. Dolní means "lower" in Czech, and the Bečva is a river that snakes through the village. Dolní Bečva is a popular summertime destination for athletes and nature enthusiasts, who visit the village to go hiking, bicycle riding, fishing, or mushrooming. The village is at the base of Radhošť, a mountain on which is located a chapel dedicated to Saints Cyril and Methodius. Moreover, the famous Radegast sculpture by Albin Polasek (the original, from 1929, was replaced with a copy in 1998), is actually located within village territory.
