Review

"Diversité" is a song composed by the Venezuelan band Gigante Roja and elected by the French association “CAP Diverses Cites” as an official theme of its “2nd International Festival of the Diversité” that took place in September, 2011 in Lyon, France.

The band Gigante Roja wrote the song under the broad concept of diversity. It presupposes that in spite of ideological, religious, cultural and idiomatic differences all people are equal by nature and should be accepted as they are without racial discrimination reinforcing love, friendship, acceptance, equality and honesty to support world peace and unity.

The song "Diversité" is a mix of African and Latin American rhythms, indigenous singing with a little bit of Rap and Rock music, all adapted to the band style. The song "Diversité" was recorded with the participation of the invited singer Kenzy Boufedji, lead vocalist of the Lyon band Emynona.

The audio mixing was executed by the Grammy awards winner Roberto Rincón and the mastering was done by Edgar Puglisi who showed their high professionalism in their work.

A music video of “Diversité” was shot later on, and came up in the rotation in Lyon and Venezuela with the collaboration of 24Q Producciones (Venezuela) in video production and CAP Caraibe Audiovisuele (France) in audio recording. The song "Diversité" opened the gateway to the band Gigante Roja that finalized its Belarus tour by the end of 2011.
