Disappeared is an American documentary television series on Investigation Discovery that debuted on January 11, 2010. The series contains interviews and commentary by people involved in various cases (usually police officers and other investigators, and the subject's relatives and friends) in which individuals have gone missing unexpectedly. By the time episodes air, some cases have been resolved, with a variety of outcomes, but most often the cases covered have not been explained at the time the episode reaches broadcast. On April 11, 2016, after a three-year hiatus, the series returned to Investigation Discovery for a sixth season.
