The Dinamo Tirana–KF Tirana rivalry is a rivalry between football clubs KF Tirana and Dinamo Tirana, the two most successful clubs from the city of Tirana in Albania. It is one of the longest currently running top-flight derby in Albania. KF Tirana dominates either historically, or during last 25 seasons against the Dinamo. However, they have equal ties in the Cup competition.

Championship of 1967

In the championship of the Albanian Superliga (1966-67) in KF Tirana and Partizani got expelled from the league. This happened in the 19th round match KF Tirana - Partizani 2:1 (match was played in full, no problems either between fans), both teams were expelled from the tournament, forfeiting the match and the last 3 remaining matches by 0:3. KF Tirana was leading the league at that moment with no losses and 3 points ahead of Dinamo, who automatically won the title collecting enough points at 3 remaining rounds. The order to kick KF Tirana out of the competition was directly given by the Ministry of Affairs in Communist Albania and then executed from AFA, because they just couldn't support the fact that KF Tirana was about to achieve the 3rd title in a row, instead of Partizani or Dinamo.
