The Digital Folklore Project (DFP) is housed in the Utah State University’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Co-directors, Dr. Lynne S. McNeill and Dr. Jeannie B. Thomas encourage students to re-tweet hashtags in order to collect hyper-modern folklore as it is created. Every year the Digital Folklore Project Board members track and write about digital trends in at least three categories: social issues, fun that matters, and animals.
