Diethyl chlorophosphate is a chemical used as an reagent in organic synthesis for the conversion of alcohols to the corresponding diethylphosphate esters. It is a clear liquid with a fruity odor which can range in colour from colourless to light yellow. It is a corrosive, and as a cholinesterase inhibitor, highly toxic through dermal absorption.
